This Billing & Refund Policy explains how Zarlo ([ZARLO LLC — LEGAL NAME PENDING FORMATION], “Zarlo,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) subscriptions renew, how to cancel, and how we handle refund requests. It forms part of our Terms of Service.

1. Plans and Prices

Zarlo offers Consumer and Business Owner subscriptions, each billed monthly or annually. Current prices are shown on our Pricing page and at checkout before you pay. There is no free tier. Prices are in US dollars.

2. Automatic Renewal

Your subscription starts when you pay and renews automatically at the end of each billing period until you cancel. By subscribing, you authorize us, through Stripe, to charge your payment method for each renewal at the price then in effect. If we change a price, we will notify you before it applies to your next renewal.

3. Payments and Failed Charges

Payments are processed by Stripe; Zarlo never stores your full card number. If a charge fails, Stripe may retry it. While a payment is unresolved, we may restrict access to the Platform, and a business listing may be hidden until the payment succeeds.

4. Canceling

You can cancel at any time from your account settings. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the period you have already paid for, and you keep access until then. You can resume a canceled subscription before that period ends, or subscribe again afterward.

When a Business Owner subscription ends, the listing is removed from the public directory. If you reactivate, it is restored as long as it still complies with our Terms of Service.

5. Refunds

Payments are generally non-refundable, but we review every refund request individually and may issue a full or partial refund, or a credit, at our discretion. Examples we consider include duplicate or mistaken charges, a technical problem that prevented you from using the Platform, and unused time after a charge you did not intend.

  • To request a refund, email support@zarlo.net with the email address on your account, the date and amount of the charge, and the reason. The sooner you contact us after a charge, the easier it is for us to help.
  • Annual plans are not automatically prorated on cancellation.
  • Approved refunds are returned to your original payment method. Timing depends on your bank and typically takes 5 to 10 business days.
  • Please contact us before disputing a charge with your bank so we can try to fix the problem. Chargebacks may lead to account suspension.

6. Your Legal Rights

Nothing in this policy limits rights you have under mandatory consumer law where you live.

If you are a consumer in the EU or UK, you may have a right to withdraw from your purchase within 14 days. When you start your subscription, you ask us to begin providing the Platform immediately. If you withdraw within the 14-day period, we will refund what you paid minus an amount proportionate to the Platform you have used up to that point.

7. Taxes

Prices may not include applicable sales, use, VAT, or similar taxes. Where we are required to collect tax, it is added at checkout and shown before you pay.
