Placeholder pending LLC formation: replace [ZARLO LLC — LEGAL NAME PENDING FORMATION] and [MAILING ADDRESS — PENDING FORMATION] below once the entity is registered, and register the designated agent with the U.S. Copyright Office. This document has not been reviewed by an attorney — legal review is recommended before go-live.

Zarlo ([ZARLO LLC — LEGAL NAME PENDING FORMATION], “Zarlo,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) respects intellectual property rights and expects its users to do the same. We respond to notices of alleged copyright infringement that comply with the U.S. Digital Millennium Copyright Act (DMCA, 17 U.S.C. § 512).

1. Where to Send Notices

Send copyright notices and counter-notices to our designated agent:

  • Copyright Agent, [ZARLO LLC — LEGAL NAME PENDING FORMATION]
  • [MAILING ADDRESS — PENDING FORMATION]
  • Email: support@zarlo.net

2. Reporting Infringement

Your notice must include all of the following:

  • Your physical or electronic signature (or that of a person authorized to act for the copyright owner).
  • Identification of the copyrighted work you claim has been infringed.
  • Identification of the material you claim is infringing, with enough detail (such as the page URL) for us to find it.
  • Your name, mailing address, telephone number, and email address.
  • A statement that you have a good-faith belief that the use is not authorized by the copyright owner, its agent, or the law.
  • A statement, under penalty of perjury, that the information in your notice is accurate and that you are the copyright owner or authorized to act for the owner.

Knowingly misrepresenting that material is infringing may make you liable for damages under 17 U.S.C. § 512(f).

3. How We Respond

When we receive a complete notice, we may remove or disable access to the material and notify the user who posted it. We may share a copy of the notice, including your contact details, with that user.

4. Counter-Notice

If you believe your material was removed by mistake or misidentification, you may send a counter-notice that includes:

  • Your physical or electronic signature.
  • Identification of the removed material and where it appeared before removal.
  • A statement, under penalty of perjury, that you have a good-faith belief the material was removed because of mistake or misidentification.
  • Your name, address, and telephone number.
  • A statement that you consent to the jurisdiction of the federal district court for the district where your address is located (or, if outside the United States, any judicial district in which Zarlo may be found), and that you will accept service of process from the person who submitted the original notice.

After receiving a valid counter-notice, we will send it to the original complainant. If they do not notify us within 10 business days that they have filed a court action, we may restore the material within 10 to 14 business days.

5. Repeat Infringers

In appropriate circumstances, we will terminate the accounts of users who repeatedly infringe copyright.
